| A Personality Quiz about your religious or spiritual beliefs (link) Quote:
. And make sure to notice some questions are multiple choice.Although this quiz made an attempt to recognize religious or spiritual paths (or "non-paths") outside of the mainstream, including atheist and agnostic, IMO it was still based on a traditional Judaeo-Christian worldview. There were several questions where my response didn't really fit any of the options ... I could see what they were getting at, but it was obvious that whoever created the quiz didn't really understand non-mainstream concepts. They tried to ask about non-mainstream beliefs using their own frame of reference, and it didn't quite work. For example, my own approach to living a spiritual life in a physical world is a bit more complex than "should social betterment programs be fundamental: yes or no." Anyhoo, it was kind of a fun way to spend a few minutes on a Friday afternoon. Here were my Top Ten results. They're actually not too far offbase ... except I'm looking at Scientology there in 9th place. Tom Cruise, honey, get a place ready for me. 1. Mahayana Buddhism (100%) 2. Neo-Pagan (97%) 3. New Age (92%) 4. Unitarian Universalist (89%) 5. Theravada Buddhism (81%) 6. Liberal Quakers (79%) 7. Taoism (78%) 8. New Thought (71%) 9. Scientology (71%) 10. Hinduism (71%) And down there at the very bottom of the list were Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist, Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant, Islam, Roman Catholicism and Jehovah's Witnesses. Just as well. I'm not too fond of going around knocking on strangers' doors. |

After peering bleery-eyed at the quiz and even forgetting what the question was after getting through the options a couple of times.. to simply clicking not applicable a lot of times LOL I eventually got to the end and, considering I disagreed with 90% of the actual choices they still got my no.1 correct The rest... well, they're likely due to my getting bored with the obvious Christian-structure of it as Kitty already mentioned.1. Neo-Pagan (100%) 2. Secular Humanism (94%) 3. Unitarian Universalism (88%) 4. New Age (84%) 5. Liberal Quakers (78%) 6. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (77%) 7. New Thought (76%) 8. Scientology (73%) 9. Taoism (70%) 10. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (68%) 11. Reform Judaism (68%) 12. Theravada Buddhism (66%) 13. Nontheist (65%) 14. Mahayana Buddhism (55%) 15. Sikhism (51%) 16. Baha'i Faith (45%) 17. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (22%) 18. Hinduism (22%) 19. Orthodox Quaker (22%) 20.
