Well, if you were me, I'd say it was because anyone who pays someone they meet outside a Metro station 140,000 francs (21,340 euros) for "purification packs" and books deserves what they get.

Actually, though, I've read the article, and it doesn't say what fraud was allegdly committed. In other words, she is accusing the Scientologists of inducing her to spend the money by promising something would happen, and then it didn't happen; but the article doesn't say what that "something" was. And I am curious as heck about what is in a "purification pack". Or do I really want to know?

but let this be a lesson to you, you should never eat or drink while in charge of a computer, it happened to me once and I ended up buying lisa on an ebay auction....

Well that might not be 100% accurate, but hopefully its a scary enough lesson to stop other people from getting themselves into trouble
