Alright, I guess this had to be done at some stage. I've noticed that the food threads are quite popular on here, and I know that a few of us have 'takeaway rituals' - Indian one night, Chinese another. So... I'd like to find out which takeaway food you like the best

I voted Chinese, I prefer - on the whole - Chinese food to pretty much all others. It's fragrant and very tasty. I must admit I don't get a Chinese takeaway very often, but I home-make it all of the time. The only problem with takeaway Chinese is the gloopy MSG crap they put in it.

I don't "do" fast food burgers, either

Although a proper Chinese restaurant is far better than takeaway IMO.

They are my favourites. It depends on my mood as to what I prefer to eat at any given time.

Well, I know which one's at the bottom of my list ... American fast food such as McDonald's barely qualifies as "food", IMO.

Chinese, Mexican, Indian, Italian, fish 'n chips ... all good, although it depends on the specific takeout place as to the quality.

Since I had to pick one ... pizza!

Presume we weren't talking healthy, just what we prefer. I prefer good, serious, real fish and chips or a proper burger (unlike the ones in "Falling Down"). I like my arteries to occasionally be reminded who's boss.

Macca's style take-away is to food what hip-hop is to music.

I picked other and that other would be Thai food. I love it some many interesting flavours, but you do have to choice a good restaurant. There are some bad pretenders out there.
