We just had a Full Moon on Monday . Maybe that has something to do with it.

And I've adopted a new kitten. I just went to the veterinarian's office to buy some flea medicine for my girls. Honest, that's all I was going to do. But somehow I managed to come home with a cat carrier with a four-month-old cat in it. How'd that happen?

It's a boy, too. My first boy cat since my sweet William died at age 17 in 2000.

Kitty, I was almost going to suggest a forum competition to name your new mog, but that may have unwanted risks.
We've had a great variety of cat names, at the simpler end of the scale, Fluff and Ick, but on the philosophy that cats deserve imposing or evocative titles moved to Manic, Pyewackett, Morton the Mental Case, and Wompetoo Chigwidden Carmarthenshire Spongecake come to mind.

Don't you hate it when you go out for one item and come back with a zoo? What kind of cat is the new one? Maybe we should have a forum to name it, then you can choose a completely different name and we can all be offended you didn't choose ours. You will then be shunned from future threads.

I'm not smart enough to debate or say anything on this forum.

His fur is medium length, pale apricot-spice colored, and his eyes are olive green. He's about four months old and is a bit skinny ... he needs some loving and good food. His feet and ears are huge, so he's probably going to be big when full-grown.

So far, my girls haven't completely freaked out. Tink (my mama cat) seems to want to make friends, and the other two are doing a little sulking. He's a very snuggly and friendly sort of cat, so I think he'll have won them over pretty soon.

Oh ... his name is now Malcolm. I was going to put it up in the forum for suggestions, but he beat me to it and told me what he wanted to be called.

I'll be taking a pic of him soon and will post it in my album here.

You has a talking cat? Did he say 'Mowcolm'? Thought you might be interested in a vid on this site Lolcats ‘n’ Funny Pictures of Cats - I Can Has Cheezburger? (being a cat person you would probably enjoy the whole site, or perhaps already do), I loled at 'Ninja cat comes closer without moving'.
And teh...since when do we need to be smart to debate or say anything here? I think I've proved that idea wrong on several occasions. I too sometimes have an issue with joining in certain discussions because I don't think I know enough, but most people here are pretty understanding and considerate.

That Ninja cat was a classic. "U cant c me, cos Iz not moving!"
